Our Mission

It is the mission of this site, MarketLinking.com, to provide useful, relevant and unbiased information about institutionally issued market linked and indexed products.  An institutionally issued product is one issued by either a bank or an insurance company.  Market linked products are technically termed ‘structured products’ and can be issued by a variety of financial entities.  However, a key structural component of market linking is the guarantee of the depositor’s principal.  Therefore, institutionally issued market linking products form a risk class of either bank guaranteed or insurance guaranteed products.
Our mission is to compile as complete a knowledge-base on institutionally issued market linked products  as feasible, including performance history, suggested methods of selection and product analysis, strategies for use of the products in financial and retirement planning and tools to model potential performance and impacts on financial plans.  We will make every effort to assure that this information is complete, accurate and current.
